StyleShark presents the top ten virgin auctions. These are ten famously infamous girls who offered one of their most prized possessions for some cold hard cash.

10) Sandy from Chile ($2,800) - May 2003

Known only by the name Sandy, this 19 year old from Santiago, Chile, tried to auction away her virginity for approximately $5,000 (USD). She reportedly needed the money to pay for her schooling (and not in the school of love).

Of the ‘millions’ [her words] of requests she received, one women from the UK actually sent her 1,700 British Pounds to help pay for her school.

Sandy reportedly took the money, vowed to pay it back as soon as she could, and was reportedly “very happy” that she could now “save herself for someone she loved”.

9) Alina Percea from Romania ($7,000) – June 2009

Originally trying to raise a reported 50,000 Euros for her “cherry”, 18-year-old Alina’s auction finished with a high bid of only 5,000 Euro ($7,000 USD).

A 45 year old Italian man paid for Alina to take a trip to Venice to “see the sights” before ending the day back at his “luxurious hotel suite”. According to Alinea she “liked the man and (we) got along well…” and “He did not look 45, but much younger”.

Percea passed two medical examinations to prove that she was a virgin before the “big event”.

8) Kylie Aston from Great Britain ($14,000) – March 2002

24-year-old Kylie Aston put her stuff up for sale for 10,000 Euros ($14,000 USD); however under apparently false accusations of being a vice girl (hooker) the auction was cancelled.

Aston later told an interviewer that she had “done it the old fashion way” (for free) with a mechanic by the name of Jay Richards.

Aston said all her poppin plans went out the window when she met Mr Fix It. Although I’m sure this was one thing he was happy to break.

7) Rosie Reid from London UK ($15,000) – January 2004

This 18-year-old from London sold her body to a bidder who paid a reported $15,000 for a chance to pick Rosie’s flower.

But whether or not Rosie was a virgin is slightly debatable… Although it was her first time “with a man”, Rosie’s lesbian lover apparently waited next door for the whole thing to end.

The man, a divorced father of two, got his prize after providing Rosie with a bank note for the $15,000. However, virgin or not, I doubt he was disappointed as Rosie later stated “I felt obliged... to please him as he had just paid all this money”.

Unfortunately, Rosie didn’t have that fun a time. According to her “the next morning she said she joined her partner and they ‘just cried and cried’.”

6) Carys Copestake from Manchester UK ($23,000)

18-year-old Carys, sold herself so she could pay her tuition to study physics at Salford University.

Carys, who admitted prior to the auction she had only ever held hands with a guy, unsuspectingly gave her entire life story to a journalist with the Malta Star. Carys later said she thought the journalist was asking so many questions because “maybe he wanted a discount”.

Carys, who still lived with her parents at the time, said they were oblivious when it came to knowing how she was raising money for college. However for her it was killing two birds with one stone; she didn’t want to go to college a virgin, but also needed the money to get there.

The reporter tried to contact Carys to see if she went through with it. To which her response was: “I'm going to do it this Thursday. Sorry I'm at work so I can't speak any more.”

5) Lucy Hartley from Essex UK ($29,000) – October 2004.

There were no false accusations here, this 18 year old girl was later found to be a prostitute selling her “goods” over and over for upwards of 20,000 Euros ($29,000 USD)

Whether anyone actually paid Lucy for her services is unknown, however one of her more expensive auctions rose to a price of nearly $30,000!

After her past was exposed, Lucy stopped exposing herself to others, and not much has been heard from her since.

4) Cathy Cobblerson from Texas USA ($100,000) – January 2004

24-year-old Cathy Cobblerson from Texas broke most auction records back in 2004 when she tried to sell her virginity for $100,000.

Cobblerson's auction gained a massive amount of press; likely due to the fact Texas is a rather religious state, combined with the sheer size of her “asking price”.

Cathy Cobblerson, set out some very simple ground rules:

“Perverts need not apply… I want a kind and gentle man to show me how beautiful and soul-searching intimacies can be. I want a memory that I will be able to cherish for a lifetime.”

So where did she go to find such a gentleman???       eBay!

That’s right, the auction was apparently taken down faster than you could say “broken hymen”, and it isn’t clear whether or not another auction took place elsewhere.

3) Graciela Yataco from Lima, Peru ($1,300,000) – March 2005

The first girl to break the $1 million mark was Graciela Yataco, a model from Peru.

Perhaps the first girl to offer herself up for a more noble cause then getting rich quick; Graciela described her decision as “heartbreaking”.

“My mother was ill and my brother and me too. [And I felt] the utter hopelessness of wanting to move forward, wanting to study, be someone and you just don't get the opportunity because it's all about money” said Graciela.

Graciela however eventually turned down a $1.5 million CAD ($1,300,000 US) offer from a Canadian man, and retracted the auction. This led to accusations that it was “all a publicity stunt”, while others cheered her for “raising awareness of the poverty being faced by many in South America”.

2) Raffaella Fico from Naples, Italy ($1,400,000) – January 2009

Fico, a 20 year old Italian model, and one of the stars of Big Brother Italy (2008), created quite a stir when she put her virginity up for auction at 1,000,000 Euros.

Miss Fico, said she would “use the cash to buy a house in Rome and pay for acting classes.”

She also told Chi magazine “I don't know what it's like to have sex…” adding that if the man who bought her virginity was ugly “I'll just have a glass of wine and forget about it”

Surprisingly it was Raffaella’s mother and brother who insisted on her virgin status, stating: “She’s never had a boyfriend” despite her “good looks and sexy image”.

Most reports say Raffaella didn’t go through with the auction, and she is now dating a soccer player: Real Madrid’s Christiano Ronaldo.

1) Natalie Dylan San Diego, USA ($5,000,000) – 2008 and 2009

If you haven’t heard about the number one girl on our list, what rock have you been hiding under?

Natalie Dylan, whose virginity was promoted on Howard Stern, with the “transaction” to be completed at a brothel in Nevada, according to several sources, received a bid of $5,000,000 for her virginity.

Dylan’s winning bidder paid a rather large down payment ($25,000) to secure his “prize” but reportedly backed out nearly a year later after his wife found out about his “business dealings”.

No word yet as to whether Dylan will put herself back up for sale, or go after one of the previous bidders.
